    • Friday - June 4 - FREE First Friday Artwalk
What a night to be with your friends.  Free trolley up and down King Street where over 20 art galleries are inviting you in - most offering wine and snacks and all showing great art.  Most of the galleries are world class - what a great night and all at no cost to you.  


  • Saturday June 5 - Historical Re-enactment of Drake's Raid
    Sir Frances Drake and his raiders return in an authentic re-creation of 1586 Sack of St. Augustine. The raid begins at 7:00 pm, however you can visit their encampment at Fountain of Youth Park to view their lifestyle, crafts, arms and armor from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • Saturday May 15 - Come Learn some History at the "KNOW YOUR CITY TOUR"Learn fascinating and little-known facts about St. Augustine on two tours conducted by local historian David Nolan.  Sponsored by Citizens for the Preservation of St. Augustine and held in recognition of National Preservation Month, the tours will include the city's "streetcar suburbs" from more than a century ago, old plantations that are now subdivisions, hidden hotels from the Flagler era and much more.  Plus, the tours will look at endangered properties in need of preservation.  The tours take place at 9:30 a.m. and noon and depart from The Old Jail Museum, 167 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine.  Tickets are $15 each and advance reservations are required.  To reserve a seat on these special tours, call 904.808.1886.

  • Saturday May 15 - HISTORIC GARDENING AT FORT MOSE
    Come learn the gardening techniques that residents of Fort Mose would have used more than 270 years ago and how they still apply today.  This program takes place at 1 p.m. and is free with the regular park entrance fee of $4 per vehicle or $2 for individuals who bicycle, walk, or ride the trolley.     Sunday, May 16 - TASTE OF THE BEACH
    Take a nibble from the signature dishes from more than 20 of the finest restaurants in St. Augustine Beach at this annual 'taste-fest".  The crowd and judges get to pick the coveted "Best of the Beach" restaurant at the end of the evening.  Performing artist Kenya will entertain the crowd with an interactive performance featuring a variety of musical instruments.  Admission is free and taste tickets sell for $1 each.  The Taste of St. Augustine Beach takes place from noon to 6 p.m. at St. Augustine Beach Park Pier Pavilion located at 350 A1A Beach Blvd.  For more information, call 904.347.8007

    HOME TOURS FOR THE ARTS
    The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will host tours of four beautiful homes to raise funds for the Center's arts education programs. The tours, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., feature an ASID designer at each home who will answer questions about architectural features.     MUSIC AND HORSES AT THE MUSEUM
    The Florida Agricultural Museum will present a free "Open Jam" from 3- 6 p.m. featuring "Nothin' But Bluegrass and Gospel" music - all musicians are invited to participate. From 6-8 p.m., Cheryl Watson and the Watertown Band will perform (tickets are $5). Plus, beginning at 9:30 a.m., the Museum will feature a six-mile equestrian obstacle challenge and fundraiser.     Rangers, Native Americans and living-history volunteers will offer a glimpse at Florida's early territorial period.
